Cheetah Pads
This industry revolutionizing technology allows you to replace the traditional metal and resin bond series of 9 steps (50 grit resin – 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000, and well beyond 8000) with 2-5 steps! By using this system you can achieve as much as a 50% reduction in labor and time on the job, as well as reduction in the products needed to restore virtually all of the surface types you will encounter in the field. These pads are designed to be used on a standard 175-300 RPM swing machine and with water.
STEP 1 PAD
Replaces traditional diamonds in 50, 100, 200 and 400 grit (i.e. the step one pad removes damage like a 50 grit traditional diamond but leaves the scratch pattern of a 400 grit pad).
STEP 2 PAD
Replaces traditional diamonds in 200, 400, and 800 grit.
STEP 3 PAD
Replaces traditional diamonds in 800, 1500, and 3,000 grit.
STEP 4 PAD
Replaces traditional diamonds in 3,000 and 8,000 grit and beyond.
For the final polishing step we recommend using our 11,000 grit Monkey Pad for the highest color, clarity and gloss.
Our 5” and 8” Cheetah Pads are manufactured using our same proprietary technology as our floor pads but are designed with a different configuration to allow for more surface contact for smaller hand work jobs. These pads work great for countertop work, shower stalls, edge work and stairs.
They are best suited to use on a variable speed hand grinder/polisher so you can use the low speed for the grinding and the higher speeds for your final polish.
These pads also work great underneath planetary style machines for floor work.

Pro tip: Using an additional dry 11,000 grit Monkey Pad for a quick final pass will give you just a little more color and clarity in some situations
